About Me

Hi, I'm Telma Meyer, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and founder of Thriving With Telma.

I’ve spent many years struggling with losing weight and being healthy. I found myself overeating, as a result of a bitter divorce and dealing with work demands and a hectic lifestyle. Then, something really scary happened: I was diagnosed with prediabetes.

That scare was what pushed me to do something! But where would I start? How would I start? Working on my willpower? Not buying sugary foods and cutting down on processed foods? Finding the perfect diet?

I felt frustrated, unmotivated, and perplexed by the fact that even though I was an ambitious, smart, and go-getter kind of woman, I couldn’t figure out how to be in control of my health, lose weight and keep it off. ⁣⁣That was holding me back from having joy and living my life to the fullest.

What I didn’t realize then is that losing weight, being healthy, and living longer is not all about the foods you eat. It involves so many aspects such as lifestyle, mind & body connection, daily habits and so much more. That understanding was my turning point. I am proud to say that I was able to completely reverse my pre-diabetes diagnosis and never needed to take meds for that. I was healed just by changing habits that were not beneficial to me and learning to eat nutritious foods and having an exercise routine that I truly enjoy doing.

I became so fascinated with health and well-being that I decided to go deeper. Since then, I’ve been actively helping people achieve their health goals and improve their lifestyles and well-being.

Learning to know your body and yourself as a person is truly the key to optimal health.
